Who we are

This site is run by Taken Cake, a growth systems architecture practice operating across MENA. Questions about your data go to team@takencake.com, and a partner answers them.

What we collect

Only what you type into one of our forms: the Diagnostic request, the contact form, the lead-magnet forms and the tools.

• Name, work email and company. Required, so we can reply to the right person.
• Role and company stage. Optional, and only where a form asks.
• Your message. Whatever you choose to tell us about where growth is leaking.
• Request details. Which form you used, the page you sent it from, the time, and your browser's user-agent string.

To stop spam, we count requests per IP address for one hour. The address is stored only as a one-way hash, and the counts are deleted within a few hours.

Why we collect it

To answer your request: send the resource you asked for, open the prices in our tools, or arrange the call. We do not add you to a newsletter, we do not sell or rent your details, and we do not share them with anyone outside the firm except the providers below.

Where it goes

• Our server. Each request is written to a private log on our web host, Hostinger.
• Our inbox. It is emailed to team@takencake.com, and may be copied into our internal engagement tracker.
• The voice agent. The agent at the bottom of every page is provided by ElevenLabs. If you start a conversation, your voice or text and the transcript are processed by ElevenLabs to run it, and kept so we can review and improve the agent. Nothing is recorded unless you start a conversation. Do not share anything in it you would not put in an email.

On your device

When you send any form, we store one small flag in your browser so the tools show their prices without asking again. We run no analytics or advertising trackers on this site. The voice agent's code loads from ElevenLabs on every page, and ElevenLabs may store its own settings in your browser for it to work. Clearing your browser's site data removes the flag.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, and then deleted, unless we go on to work together, in which case the engagement's own terms apply. Ask, and we delete your details sooner.

Your choices

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted. Email team@takencake.com from the address you used, and we reply within one working day.

If we change what we collect or why, we update this page and the date at the top. See also our terms.
